How we work with families
Four ways we support your child — from the first evaluation through ongoing therapy, plan updates, and working with your child’s school team.
Evaluations
An evaluation is where we start. We look closely at how your child speaks, eats, and uses the muscles of the mouth and face, and we listen to what you have been noticing at home.
Afterward we walk you through what we found in plain language, along with our recommendations and a written report you can share with your pediatrician, dentist, or school.
Request an evaluationTherapy
Individual, hands-on sessions built around your child’s own goals — speech sound production, safe and comfortable eating, or oral motor and myofunctional skills.
Families are part of the session, so the strategies we use in the therapy room carry over to the kitchen table and the classroom.

As your child grows, the plan should grow with them. We re-check progress, retire goals that have been met, and write new ones so therapy always reflects where your child is now.
Updated plans and progress notes are yours to keep and to share with the other providers on your child’s team.

Including IEP meetings. We can consult with your child’s school team, share what we are seeing in the therapy room, and help translate it into goals the school can carry out.
When it is helpful, we attend IEP or planning meetings with you so everyone is working from the same picture of your child.
